Piss-Off Diggle

i recently attended the "tin pan alley festival" in Dennmark street. Headliners The Subways had their limelight stolen by the amazing Art Brut, who were made to perform after the "Amazing" Steve Diggle (one half of the Buzzcocks) who displayed possibly the worst performance i have ever seen, his songs dragged on, there were too many songs, he was crap, the songs were crap and eventhough he was repeatedly told to, he would not "piss off". Anyway, Art Brut performed approxamitely 6 songs, all of which were about 3 mins long, made sense and didn't have profanities yelled at them. Eddie Argos, also known as (Fattie Argos) by you iggnorate Bloc Party fans, was incredible, he did everything from giving hints about the next song inbetween songs to jumping into the crowd and climbing on the speakers was truely complemented by his bands great performance, from Chris umping into the crowd and Iain playing his guiar inbetween Eddies legs and Freddie playing her heart out, to Mike the drummer beating those drums lke so many eggs (i am soooo funny). all in all from what i saw Art Brut are the future, and this is me speaking the little brother who jst discovered hip hop who has no problems with my rusted gun of Milan and has never met Emily Kane, but i'm sure she's very pretty Eddie.

Boarderline

Borderline was the venue for he afterparty for he festival and it had might aswell of been a Why-lout? concert, beause althogh Gin Palace were the most anticipaed, Why-lout? had the show on lock from the begining and they ended with a hip- hop remake of the Art-Brut classic Emily Kane, with Art-Brt in the crowd i mean oooohhhhhh my.
